Matt's birthday was earlier this month. We usually go home to celebrate, but this year, we just stayed at home. I tried to make it extra special for him, and I think he had a pretty good day! When we went home a while later, his parent's gave him his present...a HUGE amount of Bronco fan everything. His mom called it the family pack fan present! He loved opening it and has managed to wear a Broncos item every day this week! He is always bugging his mom and dad about going to a game sometime, so....On Saturday, he got the call! He was finally going to a Broncos game!! They played the Chiefs on Sunday, so Matt, his dad, Don, and brother, Owen, headed off to Kansas City to watch their favorite team. If anyone was watching, you know it didn't end very well for the Broncos, but as faithful fans, they still enjoyed watching every minute. When Matt got home later that night, he was exhausted, sunburned, lost his voice, and had pretty much the best day of his life! I'm pretty sure it was one of the best present he could have gotten for his birthday.
