Ellie is full of questions.
She wants to make sure she knows everything that's going on.
Why things are the way they are.
And if she isn't satisfied with your answer, she will let you know
with a little "Tell me all about that" lovely little phrase.
It's her best friend.
It gets tiring.
Sometimes they are the funniest questions in the world.
Some are really weird.
Some are incredibly thought provoking.
But no matter what, she keeps me on my toes.
Questions like hers all day is the reason moms can't think of random words when they are talking.
They go on autopilot and just can't think straight.
Words like dishwasher and washing machine get very mixed up and confusing.
I do a lot of pointing a babbling trying to get my point across by the time Matt gets home and asks me questions.
So...ready for an Ellie question?
"How does the moon get full?"
What do you mean?
"Like what does it eat up there to get full?"
Oh, you mean when there's a full moon?
Ya...how does it do that?
....Pretty sweet huh! I just giggled and tried to explain why.
In, I'm sure, not very accurate scientificness.
But now we know that the moon actually does not eat food to get full.
God does it and it's a miracle.

"God does it and it's a miracle." That sounds like a good answer to me. :) You could make that your standard answer.
If answering questions all day long is the reason moms can't come up with common everyday words then I'm not sure what my excuse is :)
