Even though we'd like to think we know already know everything about having a newborn, thanks to Ellie, we're still learning a lot of knew things with little Tripp! I guess I was just assuming they would be a lot alike, but I couldn't have been more wrong! So, in case you're intrigued, here's some of the things Tripp enjoys and dislikes...and an occasional picture to keep you interested!
*He seems more comfortable not wearing clothes than wearing them, and sleeps much better in the nude (plus a diaper)!
*He hates being swaddled, which I tend to forget since Ellie loved it for months. If you do swaddle him, he squirms and screeches till you uncover him.
*He loves baths and just lounges peacefully until we're done cleaning him.
*He's a typical boy and enjoys tooting and burping insanely loud-especially while sleeping at night and at church!
*He actually enjoys being on his tummy and doesn't even cry!
*He doesn't seem to mind his big sister trying to "help" all the time.
*He doesn't seem to want his pacifier very much, and gets frustrated when it pops out of his mouth (he's not quite talented enough to keep it in for over 5 seconds!) Ellie always had one in her mouth!
*He likes being fed ON TIME, and lets you know with a high shrill cry if you're late!
*He doesn't like being burped hard. Ellie like being pretty much smacked when I burped her, but he jumps and gets startled if you accidentally burp him too hard.
*He coos like a little bird when he talks.
*He's generally a very calm, quiet little baby...and we love him so much!

Aww, Matt and Rach that is so sweet. We love getting updates on Tripp and Ellie. He is getting more cute every day. The pictures of Tripp and Ellie are so precious. It looks like she is a wonderful big sister! That is so interesting how different he is from Ellie. We miss you all and cannot wait until we can see you again! Love you all!!
